      In the name of God Amen the 18th day of November Year One Thousand/
      I John Goodinowe of the parrish of/
      Ebbesbourn wake in the county of wilts, husbandman sick in body but/
      and perfect remembrance do ordain and make this my last will/
      and testament in manner and form following: First I bequeth my Soul/
      to almighty God my body to be buried in the churchyard of Ebbesbourn/
      And I give to the mother church of Elise. Next I give to/
      my parrish church Next to the poor men's box Next I give and/
      bequeth to William my son one cubbard one stone one quarter of mault
      one coverlet and one sheet Next I give and bequeth/
      unto Thomas my son one quarter of malt one heiffer bullock/
      of years old one coverlet and one sheet one brass pan and one/
      also one coffer. Next I give and bequeth unto Julyan my Dau/
      one quarter of malt one chest one coverlet one sheet one/
      pewter platter and one and one brass pan one cauldron/
      and also one skyllet And I will that these legacies afore given be delivered/
      unto my said children at the age of Seventeen years And fortune any/
      of my said children to decease before the age of 16 years that then his/
      or her portion to remannt to the longest liver of them The rest/
      of all my goods moveable and removable my Debts payed and my/
      funeral charge born I give and bequeth unto Margaret my wife/
      whom I ordain and make my Sole executor of this my last will/
      and testament also I ordain and appoint William and/
      Richard my overseers and I give to each of them $ a piece/
      witnesses John Cabbett and Nicholas Hutton other more./
