George entered, 5 Jan. 1653/4, lands purchased from Nathan Gold.
Will (no date); wife Ellen; sons Samuel and John (under 18); dau. Mary (under 7); Thomas Sherwood and Samuel Forman overseers; will and Inventory proved 20 Oct. 1658.
Children:
1) Mary, m. (1) Joseph Jackson; m. (2) Joseph Seeley, and removed to Cohansey, N. J.
2) Samuel.
3) John, d. in King Philip’s War; will 1 Dec. 1675, proved 10 Feb. 1675/6; says he is ‘‘prest a soldier"; sister Mary Jackson; uncle John Smith; brother Samuel Godwin.
