  	...the marriage took place about 1677-8. It is more probable that it took place immediately after the death of Christopher Christopher’s first wife Mary’s death, which took place July 13, 1676. Sufficient grounds existed to necessitate a speedy marriage between the two, if any marriage at all was to take place (see Caulkin’s History of New London, p. 251), to Elizabeth (Brewster) Bradley (widow of Peter1 Bradley of New London, Conn., who d. June —, 1662), born May 1, 1637, at Duxbury, Mass.; d. Feb. —, 1708, “aged about 70,” at New London, Conn., and was buried there in Old Burying Ground, gravestone. She was a daughter of Hon. Jonathan2 (William1) and Lucretia (Oldham) Brewster, of New London, Conn. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Children by second marriage a (named either Christophers or Bradley), sex not stated : iv.
