- NATHANIEL(2) CHESEBROUGH (William(1) Chesebrough), bap. Jan. 25, 1630, Boston, England; d. Nov. 22, 1678, Stonington, Conn.; m. 1659, Hannah (second dau. of Capt. George and Bridget [Thompson] Denison) (his first wife), b. May 20, 1643; received into the First Church of Stonington Sept. 30, 1677. He served in the Colonial Indian War; was one of the first nine members of the First Church at Stonington, Conn.; was a Freeman of Connecticut, 1666; a signer of the Pawcatuck Articles, 1658;
